Beaufort Community Foundation is a recently established nonprofit aimed at supporting future enhancements of community waterfront, green spaces, docks and parks. WHAT WE DO
Our Purpose
Beaufort Community Foundation was founded in November 2024. This committee saw that there was a gap between the revitalization of town docks, park amenity needs and the town funding. This charitable and educational foundation plans to collaborate with the Beaufort Garden Club, Beaufort Arts Council and Beaufort Parks and Recreation committee just to name a few. Our goal is to move forward with town leaders to support the future needs and wants of our residents.
A few ways we aspire to make a difference
future trestle project, new boardwalk planks, benches, shade structures, water bottle refilling stations, recycling stations, bicycle racks, tennis court shelter, wind screens, pickle ball courts, little league bleachers, Christmas/Holiday decorations along waterfront, swim lessons for children, future Ann Street park enhancements, family movie night and game activities, community gardens, boat building contest, visitor's information station
